Improving your email delivery (SPAM)
To help your chances of your email not getting picked up in SPAM filters:
- Keep introduction emails brief.
- If you get an enquiry from a potential new client, send them a brief email saying you will send an email with more information shortly
- Instead of an email describing your products and services, attach a PDF with that content
- Try to keep sales terminology to a minimum so your email doesn’t look like a website SEO bogus email
- We see words like services, specialist, marketing as reasons email gets picked up as SPAM
- Limit website links in your email
- Have a simple alternative email signature that is just text and has your contact information but no links. Also with no long disclaimer at the bottom
