Overseas Country form

Most hacking attempts into Office 365 originate from overseas.

To help protect you from fraud and financial loss we have polices in place that block overseas attempts into your Office 365 environment.

By restricting access to only the countries where you operate, we reduce the risk of unauthorized access and potential cyberattacks.

We do this for the same reason you lock your house door, lock your car, and have a password on your mobile phone, to make you feel comfortable and secure.

If someone was trying to break into your house every day, you would no doubt increase your security. Hackers and scammers can be anywhere in the world and they are trying to get into your systems 24/7.

If you travel overseas, please let us know by filling out the form below. Before you travel, we will schedule the country or countries you visit to be removed from the list of restricted countries. Then, once you are back, we will close the security risk.

When traveling, you may use the internet connection at a stopover airport, the airline’s internet while on a flight, or an E-SIM, which will route traffic through a different country.

Please let us know if you are still blocked while traveling (e.g., when using an eSIM). You can email us from your personal email address or message us on WhatsApp. You can also contact us from our website – https://warringahit.com.au/contact-us/

Alternatively, consider using a VPN while traveling. Proton VPN (https://protonvpn.com/) is what we use. Based in Switzerland, they have your privacy in mind (https://protonvpn.com/why-proton-vpn)

Using a VPN will enable you to connect to Australian servers, making your connection to Office 365 appear local.

The country or countries you will be visiting
The date you will no longer be overseas
A digital SIM eliminates the need for a physical SIM card. When using an eSIM your connection may come from a different country than where you are located.
