Support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025. After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 1012.

While your Windows 10 PC will continue to function, it will be at greater risk for viruses and malware without these updates.

If your PC meets the minimum requirements, you can upgrade to Windows 11 for free through Windows Update.

Windows 11

If your current Windows 10 computer cannot upgrade to Windows 11 it means it is about 7 years old.

A Windows 11 computer will be faster, more energy-efficient, and is designed to be more secure.

Windows 11 is similar to Windows 10 but with a refreshed interface along with productivity enhancements.
