What’s included in Microsoft 365?
A Microsoft 365 Business subscription gives your team access to:
- Exchange email — professional business email with your own domain (e.g. you@yourbusiness.com.au)
- OneDrive — 1TB of personal cloud storage per user, accessible from any device
- SharePoint — a secure shared space to store, organise and access company files and documents
- Microsoft Teams — messaging, video calls, file sharing and meetings in one place
- Office apps — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, either in the browser or installed on up to 5 devices per user
Why Microsoft 365 and not Google Workspace?
Both are capable platforms, but for most small businesses we work with on the Northern Beaches, Microsoft 365 is the better fit. It integrates seamlessly with Windows, the Office apps are more fully featured than their Google equivalents, and the security and compliance tools are enterprise-grade. If you’re currently on Google Workspace and finding it limiting, migration is straightforward.
What does it cost?
Microsoft 365 is sold on a per-user, per-month subscription. Plans start at around $12 AUD per user per month for basic email and storage, through to $24 per user per month for the full suite including desktop Office apps and advanced security. We can help you choose the right plan for your team size and needs — most small businesses don’t need the most expensive tier.
Moving from an on-premises server?
